client : Transmission Webcamo https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=air.com.transmission.webcamo Category : DevelopmentPublishing of the application Webcamo (Android), leader of the meeting via webcam. The application was developed with Air / Flex and Flash Media Server (with SharedObjects) / php-mySql. It is available on Google Play and can interact in duo, or lounge (4 webcams streams simultaneously). Wireless network access is recommended, but the application also works with 3G. An instant and deferred messaging are included with the possibility to blacklist a user or add him to contacts. Admin IPad software
Category : DevelopmentRecent AIR porting on iOs was the opportunity to test development under this platform. Here is a website management software under IPad (iOs). Developed under AIR (Flex), php and mySQL (webservices), the software includes all the features needed to manage the website www.graphiste3d.net (content management, thumbnail croping, multilingual, news, rss, maintenance, debugging, statistics, google analytics, youtube ...). Everything is integrated on the tablet The fluidity is to be improved, but for a first version, AIR seems to work properly on the Apple tablet. The software is available with some minor adjustments on PC and Android.
swiping DataGrid (android)
Category : NoneThe Flex 4.5 SDK brings a lot of new functions about mobile, but still nothing to manage swiping inertial lists like in most actuals smartphones. That's why I decided to create one from a spark DataGrid. I've used the excellent ThrowProps plugin from Greensock, and adapted it on a Flex configuration. (The scrollBar is now useless, I forgot to remove it)
Jigsaw
client : Ecole Castellane de Rillieux La Pape (69) France Category : DevelopmentA free jigsaw software made with Adobe Air. The app can load your own images (any size) and choose the number of columns and rows (1600 pieces max). Basically this jigsaw has been developed for children. The ability to manage different levels of difficulty and to choose a custom image, make the application to adapt any level for children. The parts are only square or rectangular. I will try to improve the system by providing real pieces of jigsaw shapes in a later version. Dynamic bitmap slicing was interesting to explore for this type of software.Download for free Windows or Mac version (french only). Any comments or suggestions about this app are welcome.
Website management software
Category : DevelopmentI've developed a software (Adobe Air / Flex / AS3) to easily edit the references of this site. The (local) soft integrates data to the MySQL database through a series of encrypted php webservices. The software is a serious improvement of the flex module of the previous version of the site. It manages the contents French / English, mobile / fixed version, visual (videos, pdf, swf, html, stuff), tags, news, the general configuration of the site, google analytics and youtube videos. It can also generate thumbnails from the original picture. This software will most likely be moving to include a statistics module (in addition to google analytics) to manage the settings for SEO metatags.
Augmented reality with Android
Category : NoneI have not tested the Android Augmented Reality in Flash ... the 3d is still quite sluggish on android. Recognition algorithms would put the CPU to its knees without any doubt. However, the last test with Unity impressed me, and I decided to test it with the excellent library of Qualcomm augmented reality for Unity. The system is still unstable, i expected much more, so the tests are encouraging. (Android 2.3.3 (gingerbread) - Samsung Galaxy S)
