Rove 3d (Aston Martin)
Category : GraphicsRove 3d is an asset for Unity 3d wich can make (nearly) realtime renders in pathtracing. The result is very similar to what Vray can make. The asset is still experimental and lacks a lot of features, but it's very promising. The render is very good, very fast, and one can imagine original apps specially for interior rendering. I'm working on a video about this wich will be available soon.
Fracture (massFx test)
Category : NoneIt's been a long time since I wanted to test the famous 3d studio max massFx module. This module dates back a little, but I wanted to compare it with its predecessor, the Havoc physics engine. It is definitely easier to use, and better integrated to the UI of 3ds. For the accuracy and the computation time, it has nothing to envy to the old module.More smoke (fumeFx) and particles would have made it more realistic, but I sorely lacking time.
Freedent inflatable object
client : La Rue Category : GraphicsAdaptation of a 3d model and rendering for an inflatable object for Freedent from La Rue agency. The job was to edit the 3D object to respect the constraints related to the manufacture of inflatable (about 1m height), and make HD renders for customer validating. Members of the characters that were in volume had to be projected as textures.Credit modeling: Freedent

Spiderman Vray
Category : GraphicsA work in progress. The original texture was made for Mental ray. So i've reproducted it almost identical for Vray. This allows me to use it on both rendering engine as needed. Some uvw defects persists. They will be fixed.
Blue glass
Category : GraphicsA try to render a dispersion refraction under vray. The render time is very expensive, but the result is interesting.
Silver ring
Category : GraphicsI modeled the ring in order to test and compare the result of different rendering engines (Maxwell, Fryrender, Vray, MentalRay, Brazil).
3D Hand
Category : GraphicsHand modeled with 3D Studio max then refined with Mudbox. The final render has been made with Vray, retouching with After Effect.
