Behind this barbarian word (Screen Space Reflection) hides a technique of dynamic reflection on 3d surface. The reflections are calculated in real time on the camera level. The effect is very efficient but limited to camera space only. Everything wich is behind the camera field of view, is not taken into account. Candela has just released v3 of their asset wich fix this issue in a certain way. The result is quite convincing. Here are some comparative screens.

Virtual visit of the Jardin des Halles (Nelson Mandela) in Paris done with Unity 3d. The goal was to introduce the different gaming devices on the park within their environment. A Unity Webplayer version, and a WebGL version were done for web purposes, but the PC version remain the gorgeous one.

FOV visualizer is an asset for Unity 3d I've just developed wich simply allow to display camera field of view accurately in 3d space. Normally, the camera fov is only visible while in editor and the camera is selected. DFR is a very refreshing 3d game for tablets where we 'drive' a dragonfly along tree trunks while avoiding obstacles. I've developed this game in a very short period of time with Unity 4.5 and it's available in Android and iOs (free and paid version). The design was done mainly by the customer.
