Unity raytracing (sequel)
Category : NoneStill in the context of my investigations on raytracing in Unity using the latest package (still in preview) of real-time raytracing based on the most recent Nvidia GPUs, here is a small and very short test video. The lack of time, but especially the lack of stability of the functionality, and the incessant crashes did not allow me to push much further the tests.
I had planned a lot more, but, at the time of writing this post (February 2020), raytracing under Unity is still in pre-release. It is therefore absolutely not possible (and I confirm) to use it serenely in production for the moment unfortunately.
Nevertheless, the results, although succinct and limited, are still encouraging. Hopefully Unity will (finally) produce an efficient real-time GI system ... and one that works ... maybe with this techno ?
I'll test this further when the raytracing will be much more stable.

Honey pearls
client : Vivapi https://vivapi.com/ Category : GraphicsFor a series of honey candies (of excellent quality), Vivapi asked me to produce promotional images for its website mainly. Since it was necessary to produce strictly identical images from one perfume to another, CGI has proved to be the ideal tool for this task. The render has been produced with Maxwell Render. A studio HDR lighting has been recreated in order to emphasis the volumes.
The images were rendered with Maxwell for the most realistic result possible (28 in total). The texture of the candies has been reproduced most faithfully to the originals. The candies shapes were modeled by photogrammetry and retouched under ZBrush. The pot was modeled using CAD tools from plan to obtain the exact virtual replica.
I invite you to taste these sweets, they are all more delicious than others!
Tea in the garden
Category : GraphicsI wanted to recreate some peaceful scene, serene and ... greedy. I used for that my lasts 3d models modeled with ZBrush (Strawberry tart and Cup of tea). The redering was done under Arion with a very dim hdr lighting, some diffuse projectors to simulate foliages.

Aston Martin Vanquish

Category : GraphicsRush integration test of a 3D model in a real set with dynamic HDR lighting and reflections. The Ferrari is 3d. Dynamic HDR lighting used for the occasion. The reflection and shadow on the vehicle reinforce 3D integration.

Category : GraphicsShort 3d rush study of a 3D model integrated in a real set with HDR lightning and dynamic reflexions. The virtual character takes roughly my movements to serve as a basis for reflection in the bodywork of the vehicle that will be added later.
