Rendering test with Arion. This unbiased render engine is incredibly efficent since it uses both cpu and gpu(s). The rock was modeled with Zbrush and rendered with diffuse, displacement map, bump map, specular map. The result is quite interesting, and the render engine is excessively fast and easy to use so far.

Augmented reality with Android

I have not tested the Android Augmented Reality in Flash ... the 3d is still quite sluggish on android. Recognition algorithms would put the CPU to its knees without any doubt. However, the last test with Unity impressed me, and I decided to test it with the excellent library of Qualcomm augmented reality for Unity. The system is still unstable, i expected much more, so the tests are encouraging. (Android 2.3.3 (gingerbread) - Samsung Galaxy S)
